Please note that all equipment is built to order. As such, prices and availability are subject to change based on our suppliers. We require a PO to begin fulfillment on all equipment orders. Be aware that we are not able to offer discounts. CTTA offers our equipment at very slight margins as an added service to our valued clients.
CTTA Testing Equipment
Data Acquisition Systems
Designed as a comprehensive solution for time-efficient yet precise data collection, this system seamlessly integrates with CTTA’s proprietary data collection and reduction program. Each system comes complete with a protective aluminum carrying case.
RTD channels are used to collect data from 4-wire RTD temperature probes. Each channel can support one 4-wire RTD probe.
Shielded Data Cables
Constructed with premium shielded 5-wire cables, these cables are specially selected to minimize interference from environmental conditions and electrical fields. Custom-built with gold-plated 5-wire LEMO connectors, these cables improve connection quality and offer superior water resistance for reliable performance in any environment.
Note: the 5th wire is used to connect the ground through the LEMO connector. Doing this helps reduce the risk of ground loops and significantly lowers environmental interference. We label these as 4-wire data cables because only 4 wires are used to carry data.
RTD Temperature Probes
These probes feature 100-ohm, 4-wire platinum RTD elements installed in a stainless-steel shaft and are equipped with water-resistant gold-plated 5-wire male LEMO connectors for reliable connectivity. Pair these probes with CTTA’s shielded 4-wire cables for best results. Available in 15″ or 6″ sizes.
Also available are sealed, submersible 6” RTD probes. These probes are permanently attached to our 4-wire data cable with a 5-wire male LEMO connector. The probe has 2 inches exposed at the tip. The data cable is protected by clear, water-proof tubing up to the last 5 feet of cable.
Wet-Bulb Instruments
These wet-bulb instruments feature a chrome-plated body and centrifugal motor/blower assembly for longevity and performance. Each instrument includes 2 cotton wicks, a 200-ml water bottle with bracket, and a wet-bulb mounting bracket. Instruments are sold in pairs and come with a foam-lined case.
Note that the CTI Wet-Bulb Instrument requires a 15″ RTD probe, also available from CTTA.
Motor/blower assemblies are available in 115-volt or 230-volt configurations with a localized plug type. Replacement parts and individual wet-bulb bodies are also available.
Elliptical Tip Pitot Tubes
The old simplex-tip Pitot tubes were notorious for leaking and being hard to handle. Our CTTA Legacy Pitot tube is not only better than the old design, but an improvement over every other product on the market.
With options for industry-exclusive 7/8″ or standard 1″ shaft diameters, our pitot tubes accommodate diverse needs, fitting seamlessly through 1″ or 1 1/4″ fully ported valves. We also offer a 1 1/2″ reinforced shaft for longer tubes used in large-diameter pipes. Available is a double O-ring packing gland, reducing friction and facilitating smooth, controlled movement.
CTTA offers rigid or flexible manometers to be used with our Pitot tubes, as well as Prandtl tubes for smaller, light-duty applications.
